WHO WE ARE

STATEMENT OF FAITH

• Things Above Firmly Believes that;

• The Bible was divinely inspired.

• There is one God that has 3 distinct persons.

• The world and everything in it was created and designed by God. 

• Humanity was created in the image of God. 

• People were created to be in fellowship with God. 

• Humanity deliberately chose to rebel against God.

• This rebellion was called sin, and because of this sin, humanity was separated from its perfect creator. 

• Because God is loving and desires relationship with us, He sent His son to sacrifice Himself to save us from eternal separation from Him.

• Jesus is the only son of God.

• Jesus lived a perfect life on earth.

• Jesus was fully God and fully man.

• Jesus died on the cross.

• After 3 days in the tomb Jesus was raised from the dead and He ascended into heaven. 

• This redemption through the sacrifice of Jesus now allows us to experience freedom from our sin if we acknowledge our sin, accept this gift of salvation, and dedicate our life to Christ as bond servants. 

• As bond servants, we are called to live a life that is worthy of His name and make disciples for His kingdom.
